COVID-19 Update - 02/09/2021

Athletes, parents and coaches, We hope everyone is staying safe during Lockdown 6.

The premier updated the community on the path out of lockdown with a likely easing of restrictions in October. The new benchmark is 70% first dose vaccination rate for us to move to the next stage and closer to getting in the pool! The government encourage everyone to go get vaccinated and here is a link to an easy portal to book your vaccination; Home · (COVID-19) Vaccinations (cvms.vic.gov.au). As always if you have any concerns reach out to a General Practitioner.

With the potential easing of restrictions in October we are excited to be able to commence the Summer State League! More information regarding SSL will be released when possible. Unfortunately we are saddened that our Winter State League will not be concluding due to the extended lockdown.

We have been working with Water Polo Australia and the other States to develop a new timeline and contingency plans for the STP, AYC, Interstate Challenge and Nationals. We are looking at new dates at the end of the year or early next year. We are expecting to be able to announce more information next week. We will update when we can and we are very excited to be planning for future commencement.
