
State Selection Trials - Junior Age Groups (14U, 15U & 17U)
Water Polo Victoria is excited to announce dates for Selection Trials of junior State Teams that will compete at the National Championships & Interstate Challenge during the Sept/Oct21 school holidays. Trials will be held on the weekend of Saturday 17th (from 1:00pm) & Sunday 18th July (before 2:00pm) with sessions scheduled on both days for each age group. Session times will be confirmed via email to registered participants in coming days. Athletes are to attend all sessions

Winter State League Restart
Due to further easing of COVID restrictions announced by the Victorian Government last week, Water Polo Victoria (WPVic) is pleased to be able to announce that the Winter State League competition will recommence from Tuesday 13July after the scheduled School Holidays break.

Skills Training & Talent ID Clinics (S.T.A.T.I.C)
WPVic has been able to arrange pool space at MSAC for the next 3 weeks during the school holidays to run Skills Training & Talent ID Clinics (STATIC Program). This program will have Slobo Macic as head coach with sessions running for 1.5 hours including both land-based as well as in-water skills training. Junior athletes who have nominated for the 2021 State Team Program (STP21) are encouraged to register so that they can re-commence training after the COVID-19 Circuit Breake

Victorian National League Club - Community Support Survey
In response to feedback from Clubs and members, WPVic has established a HP Advisory Panel to explore opportunities to develop and re-establish pathways programs. A primary focus has been to explore the opportunity to enter teams into the Australian Water Polo National League (AWPL) competition.
