Water Polo Victoria has returned from Hobart after the 13&U National Development Carnival! 50 young athletes represented Victoria across our four teams, and every participant performed extremely well over the entire tournament.
After months of preparation and hard work from our coaches, the Victorian squad landed in Hobart for an exciting tournament.

Across the Victorian group there were plenty of wins, great performances, improvements seen and learnings made. Ultimately, it was a great experience for all, both in and out of the pool.
Thanks to our team managers and parent volunteers who helped organise the teams throughout the 4-days. A special thanks to our Victorian coaching team who did so much to help mold our young athletes both in and out of the pool and also keeping them safe throughout the tour.
Vic Navy Girls: Melissa Murphy & Natalya Barry
Vic White Girls: Danielle Cale & Brianna Dawson
Vic Navy Boys: Jamie Osland & Spencer Beech
Vic White Boys: James Makeham & Will Murphy
Water Polo Victoria was also represented among the officials, with Darcy Lea and Caroline Healy attending as developing referees, and senior leaders on pool deck David Smyth and Daniel Flahive present as delegates.
We look forward to continuing to work with all our young athletes and encourage them all to continue to move along the WPV Performance Pathway!
GO VIC!
