Final Term of Academy and Development Program (Starts Oct 2nd)
Term 4 of the Water Polo Victoria Academy (13+) will kick off with week one starting on October 2nd at MSAC! This program enables Water Polo Victoria to support our athletes who are on the elite pathway, as well as provide extra training sessions and coaching support for all participants. Please complete your EOI here if you are interested in participating.
Sessions take place during weekday mornings at MSAC Dive Pool. Further details of our Term 4 program will be finalised in the coming weeks once we have definitive numbers from the Expression of Interest Form. So, if you are interested in Academy or the Development program, please complete the form ASAP!
Development Program
The Wednesday WPV Development Program will also run again in Term 4 if we have healthy interest in it continuing. This program enables Water Polo Victoria to provide younger athletes (11+) a space to continue to build their foundational water polo skills and develop their understanding of the game from our coaching team.
ACE Performance
Water Polo Victoria is excited to also advise that ACE Performance will be delivering some additional sessions for our Academy Athletes only as part of the Term 4 program (no additional cost for programs). In order to get the most out of these sessions' athletes will require;
A Recovery Kit which should include:
Trigger point ball - and trigger point chart
Foam Roller
Resistance Bands
Travel stick (mini)
This pack can be purchased through Ace Performance for $50 or if you have your own you can utilise it.
