Water Polo Victoria is proud to announce that three-time Olympian and Water Polo Champion, Rowie Webster, has joined the team as our new Performance Pathways Manager.

Rowie comes to Water Polo Victoria with a wealth of experience as both a player and coach across all levels of Water Polo, as well as recently completing her scholarship at the Victorian Institute of Sport as part of the Gen32 program. In the Performance Pathways Manager role, Rowie will take charge of the development and implementation of the programs which target the growth of both our athletes and coaches. The role will include all aspects of the WPV performance pathways, from Academy and State programs, to supporting our top talent in the NAGP squads and those categorised athletes with WPA.

In addition, Rowie will work to develop and support our coaching ranks, aligning frameworks that will help grow the standing of Water Polo in Victoria.
"I'm proud to step into the role of Performance Pathways Manager at Water Polo Victoria, the place where my journey began as a player, and I am grateful for the chance to give back and help the next generation of Victorian athletes thrive.
I'm looking forward to the challenge and to continue to create the conditions for the next generation of Victorian athletes to define what's possible". Rowie Webster, WPV Performance Pathways Manager.
In July, Rowie will be coaching the Women's World Uni Games team in Germany, before diving headfirst into her new role with WPV on her return to Melbourne.
We can't wait to get started and we welcome to Rowie to the WPV Team.
