Geelong Junior Marlins wins National Junior Good Sports Award

On behalf of the WPV family, congratulations to the Geelong Marlins Water Polo club on what has been a fantastic and busy few weeks at the club!

Last week, the club was named the 2022 Good Sports Junior Club of the Year, which is given in recognition of a club who has gone above and beyond to role model healthy behaviors and create a safer place for juniors to play sport. Geelong Water Polo Club, and the team there, are very worthy winners of such an award and we are all extremely proud of your achievement.

After the hosting of an incredible Tri-State tournament over the weekend, which saw hundreds of athletes and spectators enjoy quality Water Polo in the sun, as well as the Vic-Country Championships taking place in Geelong over the previous weekend, it has been an incredible few weeks for the Club and the sport of Water Polo here in Victoria.

Congratulations once again Geelong, and thanks to all our clubs and your commitment to growing our great sport of Water Polo here in Victoria.
