Junior State Squad Trials Wrap Up

We were thrilled to welcome over 150 athletes to the Water Polo Victoria State Squad trials over the weekend!

It was excellent to see so many talented and dedicated young athletes trying out to represent Victoria in 2025. We thank you all for participating in our state program! Seeing Water Polo being played in the entire MSAC indoor space was excellent.

A special thanks to our coaches and selectors for their time and hard work, and the parents/guardians who drive all over Melbourne, and Victoria, for these opportunities.

Coaches and selectors are currently working through the lists and reflecting on notes from the weekend, before making the final squad selection and reaching out to all athletes.

Those who missed out on the weekend due to illness, injury or extenuating circumstances, will be given a chance to trial in the coming weeks.
