Proud Members of the Rainbow Sports Alliance 🌈

Water Polo Victoria are proud members of the Rainbow Sports Alliance, a collaborative network working towards a shared vision of a sport and recreation industry that is inclusive, welcoming and accessible for everyone. 

Through our participation in the alliance, we connect with organisations across the sector to learn, share knowledge and contribute to meaningful change that supports LGBTQIA+ inclusion in sport and recreation. 

Together, we’re helping build a sport and recreation sector for everyone. 

Our engagement includes: 

• Participation in bi‑monthly Connect & Learn sessions 

• Access to LGBTQIA+ lived experience insights and inclusive resources 

• Collaboration on projects that strengthen inclusion across the sector 

• Ongoing learning and sharing of best practice 

• Visible allyship through sector-wide events such as Midsumma Carnival and Victoria’s Pride celebrations

Being part of the Rainbow Sports Alliance supports our commitment to creating safer, more inclusive environments where everyone feels they belong. We are proud to stand alongside our alliance partners and the LGBTQIA+ community as we continue this important work.
