Sponsorship of Victorian Phoenix AWL Teams/Players
Water Polo Victoria is seeking support for the Victorian Phoenix AWL Program
This program is integral in the High Performance Pathway and on the back of our recent NSC tournaments is important to ensure we continue to provide an opportunity for our athletes to play at the highest level possible.
If you are able to provide any support please reach out to the club and see if they are able to assist in meeting your needs no matter how big or small your sponsorship may be.
Hello Victorian Community;
As you may know, in 2021, Victoria re-entered the Australian Water Polo League after a number of years of being absent. It is the highest level of water polo competition in Australia. The AWL is a very competitive league and it requires a lot of time, effort, and money to compete.
The costs of travel, accommodation, and equipment can be prohibitive for many players. This year, the cost to play AWL (per player) has increased significantly. This does not include fees that players need to pay to compete in the domestic Victorian competition, or in any other representative teams (Victorian or Australian).
It is essential that Victoria competes at this level in order to provide pathways for its athletes. As such, we are reaching out to our water polo community seeking sponsorship to help offset these AWL costs so that players are able to focus on training and competition.
We are seeking sponsorships for individual players (Cap Sponsors) however we are open, of course, to any form of sponsorship that may suit the sponsor (be it corporate or an individual).
In return for your sponsorship, we would propose to (amongst other things):
promote your company through social media and at water polo events via acknowledgement of your sponsorship in match day programs.
promote your brand on the Victorian Phoenix website (https://vicphoenixwaterpolo.com/).
give you a shout-out during interviews and media appearances.
conduct water polo clinics at a school of your choice.
players to speak at a company event of your choice about the experience of playing for the Phoenix and/or the national team.
