Term 2 Academy and Development Program

Term 2 of the Water Polo Victoria Academy will kick off trials in late April at MSAC! This program enables Water Polo Victoria to prepare players for the U15 and U17 State Teams trials and state competition.

Where: MSAC Dive Pool

When: Monday 24th & Thursday 27th April for Girls and Friday 28th April for boys (Week 1 Trials) (Tuesday is ANZAC Day Public Holiday)

Time: 5:30am to 7.00am

Coaches: Girls: Chloe Lim, Boys: Ben Adams. Konstantinos (Dean) Saltas will be assisting both coaches throughout Term 2.

Who: Any interested athletes 13 years and older (Athletes born 2010 are permitted to trial, athletes born 2011 are not eligible)

Program: Training program runs until end of term 2 (Friday 23rd June)

Sessions: Girls 18 sessions (inc 2 trial sessions), Boys 17 sessions (inc 1 trial session).

Cost: $350 for the term (irrespective of number of sessions attended) once selected individuals will be invoiced.

EOI: Only complete if you have not already completed an EOI - Academy 2023 - Athlete EOI (office.com)

Please be advised if you are not selected in our academy you will be encouraged to join our development program which is held on Wednesday mornings at MSAC to continue your skill development.

When: 1st session Wednesday 26th April

Time: 5:30am to 7.00am

Coaches: Mel Di Donato, and Jade Vidal

Who: Any interested athletes 11 years and older

Program: Training program runs until end of term 2 (Wednesday 21st June)

Sessions: 9 sessions

Cost: $180 for the term (irrespective of number of sessions attended) Individuals will be invoiced after their attendance at the first session.
