Victorian Country Championships this weekend!

Teams from across Victoria will descend on Geelong this weekend to compete in the 2023 Victorian Country Championships.

Taking place at Kardinia Aquatic Centre on the 11th and 12th of February, Geelong will welcome athletes and spectators from teams such as Wodonga, Albury, Ballarat and the Surf Coast to participate in this highly exciting tournament. The Victorian Country Championships is a fantastic event for regional Water Polo players, their families and the community of Geelong.

The tournament also provides an opportunity for participants to be selected to represent Victoria at the Australian Country Water Polo Championships taking place in May, so we should see some exciting Water Polo played over the two-day event.

We also wish to extend our thanks and appreciation to all the staff, volunteers, coaches and officials that make these Championships a reality, as well as the Geelong Marlins Water Polo Club for their amazing support in assisting to organise this event.
