Water Polo Victoria welcomes competitors to the East Coast Challenge this weekend!

The East Coast Challenge (ECC) will splash down this coming weekend, with Water Polo Victoria welcoming some of the best U15 Water Polo players from around the country as they compete at MSAC. Athletes from NSW, QLD, ACT and VIC will battle it out to see who will take home the perpetual trophy as winners of the ECC in 2024. This is also an important tournament in the development of our VIC U15 squads as they progress toward the National State Championships later in September.

Victoria are also thrilled to welcome multiple athletes from Tasmania as part of our Vic/Tas girls team for the tournament.

Representatives from Water Polo Australia will also be present to help support our officials during the tournament, and provide free seminars on Refereeing and Coaching for the wider community. You can learn more about these sessions and sign up here:

It's going to be an exciting weekend of Water Polo and we encourage the entire WPV community to come along and show your support to our Victorian athletes and officials! Admission is free for spectators all weekend long (June 29- July 1).

The team lists can be found below, along with the fixture here

Good luck to all of our VIC teams and athletes competing in the ECC this weekend and we look forward to seeing many supporters in the stands cheering the teams on!
